The Barra harmonic balancer is subject to immense torsional vibration. A standard factory bolt is designed for a stock tune—it is not equipped to handle the violent harmonic forces produced by high-boost, high-RPM Barra builds. We have seen even dowelled flexplates and balancers loosen under sustained abuse, which is why we developed this kit.

This ensures that when you torque these down, they provide the exact clamping force required to lock your balancer to the crank snout securely.
