The Barra cylinder head flows well from the factory, but there is massive room for improvement in velocity and efficiency. Whether you need a simple refresh for a street car or a dedicated race head to support 1500hp+, our staged program offers a solution for every build.

💡 DID YOU KNOW?

Velocity is King. Our Stage 4 Hand Porting increases both flow AND velocity by 10-12%. This isn't just about peak numbers; the increased velocity dramatically improves low-end torque, turbo spool, and throttle response. Next Gen Motorsports swapped to our Stage 4 head on a 1400+hp build and described the car as an "animal" that drove completely differently off-boost.

The Atomic Standard

Every head we build starts with a rigorous inspection process. Castings are pressure tested, checked for cracks, and cam tunnels are honed. We deck every head to a specific surface finish optimized for MLS-D gaskets, ensuring a perfect seal under boost.

The Refresh. Perfect for stock or mild street cars.

Stage 3 (OEM+)

The Street Performer. Recommended for 700-800hp.


  • Includes Stage 2 Spec
  • Plus: +0.5mm Stainless Exhaust Valves
  • Plus: Increased Spring Pressure
  • Ideal for maxing out stock turbos or medium upgrades.

Stage 4 (Do-It-All)

The Powerhouse. Our most popular head for builds under 1500hp.


  • Includes Stage 3 Spec
  • Plus: Hand Porting (+10-12% Velocity)
  • Plus: Oil Drain Deburring
  • Rec Cams: Stage 3, 4, or 4+

Stage 5 (Pro Race)

The Drag Spec. Maximum flow for maximum effort.


  • CNC Porting Program

🏆 Stage 6: The Ultimate

Stage 6 is identical to the Stage 5 Race spec but is built on a BRAND NEW OEM FORD CASTING. Includes new seats and guides. The ultimate no-compromise foundation.
