











All cylinder heads are done on an exchange basis! We are able to provide a core at additional cost based on what we have in stock at the time. Please contact Atomic to discuss if you are unable to provide a cylinder head core.

Stage 2 - For those wanting an OEM style rebuild. New valve stem seals, HD collets, Turbo O-Series valves on the exhaust, Atomic #306800 springs with Atomic HD retainers. Cylinder head casting pressure tested, checked, cam tunnels honed, cylinder head serviced and decked to MLS-D spec finish.
Stage 3 - Adds all new +0.5mm stainless steel exhaust valves to a stage 2 head spec and increases spring pressure to handle up to around 700-800hp. This is an OEM+ head and is recommended for setups pushing the standard turbo to it's limits or larger turbos.
Stage 4 - Adds our hand ported setup which increases flow AND velocity by 10-12%. This is a lot for a cylinder head that already flows well but now benefits from improved low end torque, spool and response characteristics due to the increased velocity. This is our recommended 'do-it-all' head and will add improvements to all setups under 1500hp. Next Gen Motorsports recently replaced a damaged head on their 1400+hp build with our stage 4 head and said the car was an animal and drove completely differently off boost and coming onto boost compared with the previous head on the engine. Scottspeeds full weight EL Falcon runs 7.5s down the 1/4 mile with this head. Some additional deburring is carried out on stage 4 and higher heads to improve oil drainage to the sump. Stage 3, Stage 4 and 4+ or custom Atomic grind cams recommended
Stage 5 - For those chasing max efficiency and flow we use our CNC porting program to refine the ports and combustion chamber geometry. Higher weight springs are combined with +2.0mm stainless valves and lighter titanium retainers. Only the best quality base castings are used. New Atomic exclusive seats are installed to accomodate the larger valves. OEM guides are very capable and rarely need upgrading although can be added on for additional cost. Stage 4+ and 5+ or custom Atomic grind cams recommended
Stage 6 - Is the same as stage 5 but uses a BRAND NEW OEM FORD casting, new seats, new guides. Stage 4+ and 5+ or custom Atomic grind cams recommended
