300M Steel makes the difference. Our latest compression cups are 3D printed from 300M Aerospace Steel. This ultra-strong material allows for a significantly slimmer wall profile, giving you vastly improved visibility and magnet access to the valve collets without sacrificing the strength needed for 140lb+ race springs. Is it overkill? Yes. Is it cool? Also yes!

Changing valve springs usually means removing the head — costing you a head gasket, head bolts, and hours of labour. This tool eliminates that hassle entirely by using compressed air to hold the valves shut while you swap components. It is the fastest, safest way to upgrade to heavy-duty springs or service worn stem seals.

⚠️ Critical Usage Notes

  • Constant Air Supply: Ensure a constant supply of up to 90-100psi compressed air to hold valves shut. If air pressure is lost, the valve may drop into the cylinder. Start pressure low and increase until you are able to compress the spring and unlock the collets
  • TDC Precaution: We strongly recommend bringing the piston of the cylinder you are working on to Top Dead Center (TDC) as a safety fail-safe to avoid a valve falling into the cylinder.
  • Taper Lock: A gentle tap on the retainer with a socket prior to using the tool can help break the taper lock on old collets, making removal much smoother.
  • Please inspect your valvetrain parts as you remove and reinstall them. Use this time to check for wear marks, burrs, debris or other damage.
