The result is the Cosworth F1 Series Forged Piston — the ultimate in Barra piston design. Forged from 2618 aerospace-grade alloy, these pistons feature six internal struts to support the crown and pin bosses, Xylan-coated skirts for reduced friction and wear, and a fully polished crown to reflect combustion heat away from the piston and into the chamber.
Built for a finished bore size of 92.30mm, this kit includes Cosworth high-strength rings, heavy-duty floating pins, and locks. Proven beyond 1133RWKW and designed to absorb 8–9 tonnes of combustion force up to 60 times per second, these pistons are the foundation of the toughest Barra builds in Australia.
