Atomic M57 H13 Tool Steel Head Stud Kit

As used in countless Ford Barra engines well over 1500hp! These have been developed and continuously updated to make them stronger, better finish and easier to install than other aftermarket options. The studs are made out of a high quality H-13 tool steel and then heat treated to improve strength and mitigate cracking from brittleness. 

The studs are designed with a bottoming tip to avoid over loading the lower threads. The studs are m12x1.5 thread into the block and are 163mm from the bottoming tip to the top of the thread at the nut end. 

The kit is provided with oversize washers with a 28mm OD to help distribute the higher clamp force more evenly. We typically install these studs at 100ft-lbs but they can be taken higher if you want to extract maximum clamp without moving to larger studs. Also available in M14 size to suit higher output engines
